My Grandma's Chocolate Mousse
A sweet recipe! It's been too long! So I called my grandma and asked her to give me her chocolate mousse recipe.
I love chocolate mousse! You know, I always ask Mommy if I can lick the spoon when we finish making it. Sometimes I get chocolate all the way down to my chin ;)
Ingredients per person:
1 chocolate bar (dark or milk, depending on your preference)
1 tablespoon of sugar (white or brown, your choice)
Break the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks.
In a bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt, until stiff.
In another bowl, beat the yolks, stirring in the sugar little by little until the mixture whitens (this means that everything is perfectly blended).
Meanwhile, let the chocolate bars melt gently on low heat.
When the chocolate is melted, add the yolks and sugar mixture.
Finally, gently incorporate the beaten egg white.
Pour into small dishes.
Here is a delicious mousse that you now have to let cool down! (If you are patient enough)
